Borders - Key Plan Hatching

The options Key Plant Hatching page allows you to set the current drawing position in the Key plan.

Accessed from when you select the Borders > Key Plan Hatching node in the Settings interface.

Note: You should input the model position and scale of the Key Plan to convert the exact position in the drawing.

Define the properties per the fields described below and Save the changes.

The Close icon closes the Project Settings interface, so make sure your changes are saved. You will be prompted to save them it you haven't already.

The Load Defaults icon in the main Settings interface will return the settings of the options page to their original values.

Hatch Mark

Show Hatching Mark: Determines whether Hatching will be displayed in the drawing.

Color: Click the icon and select a color from the Color Table for the Hatching Mark.

Model and Key Plan

Model Position: Input values for X and Y into the fields for the model position.

Key Plan Scale: Enter a scale factor into the X and Y fields.

In order

Key Plan Angle: Select an angle from the list to set the key plan (0,90,180,270)

This Drawing

This Drawing Text: Enter text into the field.

Color: Click the icon and select a color from the Color Table for the text.

Text Type: Select a text type for the label from the drop down list. You can click the "..." option at the bottom of the list to display the Microstation Text Styles dialog allowing you to modify the text styles if desired.

Height: Enter a text height dimension into the field provided.

Position (X,Y): Enter X and Y coordinates into the fields, or click the icon and use the mouse to pick a location in the drawing.

Dual Mark

The Dual Mark section defines whether to display two hatch marks in one view and to define a distance between the two (See image below).

Show Dual Mark: Enable option when you want to display two hatch marks.

2D Distance: Enter a distance value for X and Y axis to determine the distance between the two hatch marks.
